The next big festival coming up is Beltane. It is usually celebrated on the 1st of May and marks the beginning of summer. In celtic times the year was divided only into  summer (May - October) and winter (November - April).
The celebrations often include bonfires, a May pole, and the election of a May Queen.

Here in Germany we celebrate the Walpurgisnight. All the German witches are said to meet on the Blocksberg in the Harz Mountains. Nowadays there are a lot of parties called "Tanz in den Mai" where people meet on 30 April and dance and drink till early morning. On May Day people tend to make long trips by bicycle.
